Privacy

Raceday is a game played with pretend money. We built it so that it needs nothing about you.

What we collect

Only the nickname you type in when you join a game. You can make it up. We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number, age or location, and there are no accounts.

What we store

While a game is running, the server keeps the nicknames, play-money balances and bets for that game in its memory so the game works. When the host ends the game, or nobody has been connected for 30 minutes, the game is deleted. Nothing is written to a database.

Your phone keeps a random ticket number for the game so you can get back in if your signal drops. It is not linked to you and is no use once the game has ended.

Cookies and tracking

There are no advertising or analytics trackers. The web server keeps a standard short-lived log of pages requested, as all websites do.

Play money only

Nothing in Raceday can be bought, won or cashed out. It is a game, not gambling.
